Perenti secures A$185m of new work and a contract extension

Mining services provider Perenti has solidified its position as a key player in the mining sector by securing new contracts and extending an existing one, with an estimated revenue contribution of A$185 million. The contracts were awarded to the company’s subsidiary businesses, showcasing its extensive capabilities across the mining value chain.

New Projects and Key Contracts

Perenti’s underground mining business, Barminco, has commenced mobilisation at Focus Minerals’ Bonnie Vale gold project in Western Australia. This project underscores Barminco’s expertise in delivering tailored underground mining solutions.

In addition, Ranger Drilling, a prominent entity within Perenti’s Drilling Services division, has secured a five-year contract with Roy Hill Iron Ore. The agreement includes an option for a three-year extension, reflecting the strong relationship and trust between the two companies. Ranger Drilling has been a key partner at the Roy Hill site since 2015, further cementing its reputation in the industry.

Complementing this, DDH1 Drilling and Strike Drilling have been engaged by Rox Resources to conduct diamond drilling and reverse circulation drilling programs, respectively. These projects have already commenced and are scheduled for completion by May 2025, marking a significant milestone in Perenti’s drilling services portfolio.
