Elevate Uranium Strikes Big at Koppies Project in Namibia

Namibia — Elevate Uranium Limited (ASX: EL8) has announced a major breakthrough at its Namib IV tenement, revealing a large and promising zone of uranium mineralisation that underscores the growing potential of its Koppies Uranium Project. The discovery significantly expands the scope of the company’s exploration footprint in one of the world’s most uranium-rich regions.

According to a company statement released this week, drilling at Namib IV has identified a mineralised zone spanning approximately 11 kilometres in length and 7.5 kilometres in width. This development marks one of the most substantial finds for Elevate Uranium in recent years and could play a key role in strengthening Namibia’s position as a global uranium powerhouse.

“The Koppies Uranium Project continues to expand outside of the Koppies Resource Area, with uranium mineralisation at the Namib IV tenement increasing,” said Elevate Uranium’s Managing Director, Murray Hill. “The mineralised polygon is now about 11 km long by 7.5 km wide.”

The Namib IV discovery builds on the company’s momentum in Namibia, where it holds multiple exploration licenses across the Erongo Region—an area known for its rich uranium deposits and mining-friendly regulatory environment. Elevate Uranium’s proprietary U-pgrade™ beneficiation process, designed to reduce mass and increase uranium grades prior to processing, is expected to further enhance the economic viability of projects like Namib IV.

The discovery comes at a time of renewed global interest in nuclear energy as a low-carbon power source, with uranium demand projected to rise sharply in coming decades. Elevated prices and tightening supply are pushing mining companies to accelerate exploration and development activities.

Strategic Advantage for Namibia

Namibia has long been a preferred destination for uranium exploration, boasting a stable government, established infrastructure, and one of the top five uranium producers globally. Elevate Uranium’s expanding footprint is well-aligned with the government’s strategy to leverage its mineral wealth to drive sustainable economic growth.

The Namib IV results will now guide future drilling campaigns, as Elevate Uranium looks to define a maiden resource and move toward feasibility studies. Additional infill drilling and geophysical work are expected to commence later this year, with the company optimistic about extending mineralisation further.

As the energy transition gains pace, discoveries such as Namib IV position Elevate Uranium as a key player in the global uranium market. With a growing portfolio and cutting-edge processing technology, the company is poised to contribute significantly to the future of clean, reliable nuclear energy.

Further updates on drilling, assay results, and resource definition are anticipated in the coming months.
